Fallout 4 map expansion mod Fallout 4 may have released its last official DLC, but the mod community is still going strong. The vanilla Fallout 4 map helps pinpoint locations for fast traveling, but it has its limitations. Mod Request Colored Map Icons - posted in Fallout 4 Mod Requests: So right now, the color of the map icons is identical to the color you choose for your Pip Boy display. But I'm wondering if there is some setting elsewhere where you can change the secondary color for it, so I can create a greater contrast and/or tone down the brightness. This simple mod aims to improve the vanilla map on the Pip-Boy. I know in the normal settings that you can only set the main color for the pipboy, which isn't helpful because the contrast remains bad and the brightness is blindingly high, regardless of the color scheme I select. Yes, I have mods installed, but it's not the reason for the problems. If youre up for it, you can also add a glass texture to the PipBoys.
But I'll respond now in bulk.įirst of all, I really didn't think it was a bug, I just thought it was annoying, and my visual issues were partly because I simply have real-life vision issues. Sorry - after I posted that above, I was unable to get into the steam comments at all, and then I had to leave for my brother's house for Thanksgiving.
